Obituary of Alan Stewart
Long time resident of Santa Clara County. Born in Great Bend, Kansas to Vera (Hinshaw) and Wayne Stewart. Began his lifelong career as a home builder in the US Navy Seabees. Graduate of San Jose State University. Survived by brother, William and sister Patricia Johns. Preceded in death by his beloved wife (Margaret) and son (John). Father of Catherine Strauss (Jon), James Stewart, and Elizabeth Johnson (Paul). Grandfather of Alan and Madeline Johnson. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Bellarmine College Preparatory (bcp.org) or Sacred Heart Preparatory, Atherton (shschools.org).
