Obituary of Aenne Franziska Schumann

Aenne Franziska Schumann, 98, of San Mateo, California, passed away on January 19, 2017 peacefully in her sleep.
Aenne was born in Cologne-Ehrenfeld on March 3, 1918 to Chrysanth and Getrud Zimmermann. She was married to Alfred Schumann on July 29, 1943; they were married for 65 years. She came to America in 1958.
Aenne is survived by her three sons, Alfred and his wife Roberta, Frank and his wife Rita, and Rolf and his wife Lisa. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sabrina and her husband John, Stephanie, Kristina and her husband Nick, Kimberly, Samantha and Nicholas.
Aenne is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Alfred.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on January 24, 2017 at St. Gregory Church, 2715 Hacienda Street, San Mateo. Burial will follow the funeral at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, 695 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto.
