Obituary of Abel J. Braga

Resided in Santa Clara with wife Olga of 43 years.
Abel was a devoted husband who worked hard his whole life to support and provide for his family. After struggling with pancreatic cancer, he passed away in his home early on Memorial Day with his wife by his side. Stationed overseas during his military career in the army where he received three medals of Honor. He was an Alumni of San Jose State University, a TV enthusiast, history buff, and lover of aviation. Abel survived by his children Susan, Sandra, Stephen, Sarah, and his grandchildren Kyla, Tyler, Ryan and Ethan. Abel also survived by his siblings Yvonne and Sylvia. Abel was a wonderful man who left us too early and will be missed dearly by his family and anyone who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Spangler Mortuary, 174 N Sunnyvale Ave in Sunnyvale, CA.
